Pelimies - Retro Gaming at its Core!

Pelimies is a Finnish indie adventure RPG dating back to early 2000's with its original release. To celebrate it's 25th anniversary since official publication and a positive review in Finnish computer magazine Mikrobitti (4/2001), remake is official! Yet, with respect to those old-school gamers out there on this page you may download the original MS DOS version created with QBasic.

Inspired by legendary game franchises such as Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Super Mario and Monkey Island, the game combines elements of adventure, exploration, role-playing and puzzle-solving - all in vibrant, ever-changing retro landscapes.

Storytelling and NPC dialogue filled with unique, self-deprecating Finnish humor, the player finds him/herself captivated with the world and its diverse characters while unraveling the mystery of amnesiac folk being imprisoned within the walls they can't escape from.
